SkipTime

SkipTime, Calgary’s first jump rope club, was founded in 2010. The club ran a recreational program for three years, and a team competed Provincially. In 2013, SkipTime became a non-profit organization, Calgary Jump Rope Club (SkipTime). We are grateful for the groundwork of the founder and original board members’ efforts to help us grow to where we are today - the largest rope skipping club in Alberta, with world-class athletes & coaches.

We Teach

Recreational Classes & Workshops - for all Ages, Levels, & Abilities:

Ages 6 + Jump Rope Classes are designed for learning FUNdamentals -the fun & enjoyment of jump rope. These youngest Rec Skippers play games and learn jump rope double-dutch classics. Older beginner skippers & advancing Rec skippers progress in our CANSKIP Badge Program, at their own pace, potentially with sights on Demo & Comp Teams, or can simply enjoy Rec Classes as a fun fitness activity!

Ages 16 + Skip 2 B Fit Parent’s & Adult Class (All levels)

All Ages! - SkipTime Recreational Jump Rope classes are also a fun, cross-training complement to another sport of choice; Jumping rope increases agility, strength, and fitness level, beneficial in all other sports.
